DESCRIPTION

In 2011 Furr created this vivid painting of a mackerel. The mackerel sits on a Queens Green Solian ware soho plate with half a lemon and is set against a wood coloured background.

Furr's fish still lives began in 1992 with ‘Red Mullet and lemon’. The early work features the fish on a salcombe porcelain dinner plate with half a lemon and a brown background.
